Each participant in the ACH Network is required to follow the Nacha Operating Rules and be compliant. There were several NEW amendments recently passed (in 2022 – in case you missed them) that will change the ACH Network processes – these are a big deal to ensure compliance.
Updates on the most recent Rules amendment in 2022 that include clarifying the roles and responsibilities of Third-Party Senders (TPS) in the ACH Network by addressing the existing practice of Nested Third-Party Sender relationships, and more (effective in Sept 2022)
Micro-Entries update to the Rules and late-night ACH with the ACH Operators information.
To remain in compliance with the Rules, participants in the ACH network need to ensure they are up to date on recent changes and newly approved amendments to the Rules. Discussion on the Operations Bulletins issued by Nacha in March will identify recommended updates to the WSUD.
Recent RFC (Request for Comment) – with proposed Rules Changes in Mar and Sep of 2024) and an RFI (Request for Information) on even more possible changes will be discussed.
