On its third committee meeting, held earlier this month, the International Pharmaceutical Regulators Program (IPRP) welcomed Iran and Argentina as its newest members. The committee now comprises a total of 28 members with National Regulatory Authority (NRA) of Iran and National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Devices (ANMAT) of Argentina.
Furthermore, reports on gene therapy, biosimilar drugs, bioequivalence, significant gene-related information, were presented in the meeting. A scoping exercise is known to be conducted amongst the members to analyze how the real world information sharing can be taken by the IPRP.
