The World Health Organization (WHO) drafts new guidance on data integrity elaborating the elements to make the data stay safe and reliable in production and pharmaceuticals control. The guidelines also recommend the companies to use written data integrity policy with "principles of data integrity and good documentation practices before delving into quality risk management".
WHO further explained similar viewpoints in the guidance as that of the US Food and Drug Administrations with concerns in noting an uptick in recent years of the number of observations regarding the integrity of data, documentation and record management practices.
